At the same time, Weichai released the world's first commercial diesel engine with a thermal efficiency of over 50%, setting a new benchmark in the world's internal combustion engine industry.

Weichai National VI engine rebuilds a new benchmark in fuel economy with five systems including its high-efficiency combustion system, low-friction, low-power system, high-efficiency intake and exhaust systems, high-efficiency pulse supercharging system, and low back pressure aftertreatment system.
